We can put our skis on directly after breakfast and go straight into the snow. The hotel is situated within the Falkert ski region at a height of 1875 metres, which is just right for families and this altitude combined with the fact that we have a snow machine means that we offer guaranteed skiing from the middle of December through to the end of April!
It is easy to find your way around the ski region and there are rarely crowds on the piste and around the lifts. This means that you and your family can enjoy skiing and that everyone has enough space! For skiers, boarders and carvers there are downhill routes in grades of difficulty from blue to black. Directly beneath the hotel is Lake Falkert, which is frozen over in winter and where you can skate, practise curling and cross-country skiing. Other favourite sports are snow tubing down to the lake within the framework of the adult weekly programme and also our skidoo safari.
The Falkertsee skibob track, which is illuminated in the evening, also goes down to the lake. Sleighs are available to visitors at the lakeside chalet free of charge.
